Our story
After the 2024 election, my wife Rebekah and I sat in stunned silence at the dinner table. The news hit hard. Another four years of watching the values we care deeply about pushed to the margins. We talked about leaving. Canada? New Zealand?
But something didn’t sit right.
We realized: this is our country too. And the truth is, even having the option to leave is a privilege, one not everyone has. So many people don’t get to walk away from injustice, discrimination, or fear. They have to stay and fight.
And if everyone who believes in progress, justice, and compassion walks away... what’s left?
So instead of leaving, we decided to stay.
Our desire to make an impact inspired The Art of Progress, a brand where art becomes activism, and expression becomes impact. We collaborate with artists to create designs that speak to the world we want to build, and we partner with nonprofits engaged in activist work.
We hope you’ll wear it, share it, and stand with us because progress doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because we choose it.
In solidarity,
Brian
